LEADANIMATOR

[This is a revenue-share position]

Oak Moon Games is looking for a Lead Animator to join the team on a revenue-share basis. If you are a confident animator with previous experience working on a game project, whether it be a hobby project or a professional one, drop us an email!

The position:

  • Lead and guide animation interns contributing to the project and their portfolios.
  • Work with character artists and programming team to promote achieve animations.
  • Have creative input on the development of our game projects.
  • Offer feedback and keep on top of milestone and deadlines of animation tasks.
  • Rig and animate a number of 3D models including the central figures and characters of our game projects.
  • Choose your hours!
  • Attend industry events.
  • Receive full credit for your work.

About you:

  • Able to commit at least 12 hours per week to the position
  • Have a strong interest in games.
  • Student or recent graduate of an animation course.
  • Experienced as an animator on a game project (hobbyist or professional).
  • Have an online portfolio of your work (or youtube/vimeo link to your show reel).
  • Are self-motivated and passionate about your work.

ANIMATIONINTERNS

We are looking for talented students and recent graduates with 3D animation skills who are interested in building their portfolio and skills for a career in games. If this sounds like you, drop us an email!

The internship:

  • Work with the Lead Animator in a collaborative online environment to create dynamic animations for our game projects.
  • Choose your hours!
  • Build your portfolio! Discuss your work preferences with our Lead Animator.
  • Attend industry events.
  • Receive mentoring and guidance towards building your skills and portfolio.
  • Any work created by you and used in our projects will receive full credit.

About you:

  • Able to commit at least 8 hours per week to the internship.
  • Have a strong interest in games.
  • Student or recent graduate of an animation course.
  • Have an online portfolio of your work (or youtube/vimeo link to your show reel).
  • Are self-motivated and passionate about your work.

GAMEARTINTERNS

We’re always looking for creative students and recent graduates who are interested in adding collaborative project work to their portfolio. If this sounds like you, then drop us an email! (Please note that we currently offer unpaid internship opportunities)

The internship:

  • Work in a creative and collaborative online environment using team and project management tools such as Slack, Producteev and Google Drive.
  • Internships are all remote and flexible.
  • Choose your hours!
  • Build your portfolio! Discuss the areas that you would like to contribute towards with our Lead Game Artist. Choose from Environment, Props, Characters and more!
  • Attend industry events.
  • Receive mentoring and guidance towards building your skills and portfolio.
  • Any work created by you and used in our projects will receive full credit.

About you:

  • Able to commit at least 8 hours per week to the internship.
  • Have a strong interest in games.
  • Student or recent graduate of a games or art/digital media related course.
  • Have an online portfolio of your work (or are able to share your recent work via Dropbox). 2D and 3D work are both acceptable.
  • Are self-motivated and passionate about your work.
